Chris Frith

Chris has been involved in the satellite industry for over 10 years. With a passion for creating - Chris is able to take the idea of what you are trying to achieve and develop all the other components required for success. In founding AUSPresence in 2005, Chris' aim was to work with companies dissatisfied with the status quo and help them achieve their objective. He has been involved in new business start-ups, assisting companies penetrate new markets and multiple product developments in satellite communications, VoIP and billing systems. Chris also has extensive experience with government broadband initiatives and is a keen proponent of rural access schemes to empower people through Internet access.
Now based in Singapore from Australia, Chris also worked in the UK, Europe and India. There he worked in the mobile industry developing billing systems and also managing network implementations. In Australia, Chris held senior positions in the Marketing Department of Optus Satellite Services where his accomplishments included establishing the VSAT Wholesale Channel to maximise the opportunity arising from the Australian Government's broadband subsidy schemes. He also developed a number of satellite products including SatWeb and SatData.
Chris holds a Computer Engineering Degree from the University of Newcastle (AUS) and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales.
